Jon Kabat-Zinn on the applications of mindfulness
This 9-minute video is an excerpt by Jon Kabat-Zinn discussing the applications of mindfulness in relationship to the self and to another. This has real implications on our stress, anxiety, and our general well-being. It is so clear that we can walk through life without being aware of our minds or our senses most of the time. Mindfulness is about noticing and acknowledging when we're somewhere else (past or future) and gently bringing our attention to the present, in essence, being here, now. Enjoy this video and feel free to comment on any insights or thoughts that arise.
