What are tags?

The links you see on the right side of this page are called tags.  Each one is a category of content on the site.  If you click on a tag, it will show the list of pages filed under that category.  Some of them are large like this, and some of them are small like this.  A large tag means you will find many pages on the site within this category, while a small tag indicates the category has little in it.

Content can be in several categories at once.  If you click on one of the larger tags, you will often see another group of tags displayed above the list of pages that matched the tag.  You can select those tags to further refine your categories.  In a short while, you'll find navigating though Aliveworld by tags to be quick and easy.

Where do tags come from?

Some tags are created automatically by Aliveworld.  Other tags are created by our users.  When you create a blog or forum post, look for the tags box in the post editor.  Add you tags here.

What does "Include content from" do?

You can use the Include Content from dropdown box to filter the list of tags.  For example, if you are inside an Aliveworld community and want to browse only posts within that community, choose This community in the dropdown box.  If you want to find something you own or created, select My content.
